BLOG HOP

So we're doing a blog hop and I have to post some kind of criteria here:

Mine is BUTTONS -- so crack open the button tin and get to sorting, girls.

Here's my LO.

HAVE FUN GIRLS!

I hope I get done with the wedding LOs soon.

My sister with our dad and with my daughter (the flower girl) - I love both these photos and really wanted to showcase them.

another wedding LO

I have been scrapping but only JUST. My mojo seems to have left the country with my husband :(

Anyway, here is a LO I've done for my sisters' wedding album -- I lifted this gorgeous design from Vicki Davey in the July/Aug CK (Australia)

wedding stuff

My friend asked me to give her a hand to make some wedding invites etc, and so we've been doing this till the wee small hours.
All of the designs are her ideas, I just lent a hand threading buckles onto ribbon etc.
So far we've made the invites, stamped envelopes, made up some teabag/coffee pockets, and a tag to go on the box that will hold it all.
LOVELY to be working on wedding stuff! It makes me smile (:

Christmas in July

Our July CC at ART has a Christmas in July theme so we decided to do a quick embellie swap.
This is what I made for the swap:

I used the Christmas Cheer Cricut cartridge, scraps of CS, and some KindyGlitz.

This is my beautiful sister on her wedding day, and I used some stash that my girls Terri and Megan sent me. The ribbon is from our bouquets, and I think the paper is Kaisercraft Lilac Avenue.

Drunken Stampers are all about time.

This week, the Drunken Stampers challenge was to do something using TIME and VINTAGE.

I was dead sure I had the T!m clock-y mask but no -- and no 'time' stamps of any description either. Thank goodness for rub-ons, then! (these are by Imaginisce)
And some watch parts I've had forever and a day.
There IS ink on this card -- only along the edges though! I really need some time-y type stamps. And some small alphas.

If you haven't played along with the Drunken Stampers, you should. They really challenge you!

my Princess

Here's a LO I made today, showing off my lovely little girl as flower girl at my sisters' wedding. Isn't she adorable?
Happily, I used up a chippie heart that's been annoying me forever and a day, and dragged out the Jasmine Cricut cart that I insisted I needed desperately, and have used maybe half a dozen times. *blush*

There will be plenty more wedding LOs to come, apologies in advance.....

a visit to Print Blocks

Thanks to the Awesome Marie, I got to visit PB in Brisbane while she shopped for her shop. And I got some amazing scrap goodies while I was there...

Some of it was presents from Kym, Marie, Sim and Terri, and the rest was courtesy of my gorgeous husband!
I can't wait to get it all unpacked and put away!! and then USE it......

recipe book

A group of us have made pages for a friends' recipe album -- to replace a lost circle journal. I chose to send the recipe for a Whole Orange Cake which is delicious! and EASY!
I've also made a tag to include in the album.

monkey

Grandson Rhune had his 1st birthday recently, and here is a pic of the monkey we gave him and some of the card I made to match.
His daddy had a monkey when he was a little boy too (:
I WISH I could lay claim to having knitted it myself, but no. I'm a total wreck at knitting ):

fishy

This is my May challenge at ART -- a number challenge with a twist -- you choose your own elements, and use
5 of something
4 of something
3 of something
2 of something
1 of something

This is a really basic LO but I'm running short of time this week!

coffee lovers card

This weeks' challenge from Drunken Stampers involves coffee! WOOHOO!! I drink gallons every day so I felt quite qualified to make a card celebrating the wonders of caffeine!
I used:
a Kaisercraft shape from the Devonshire range
a cup cut from a decorating magazine
Inkadinkadoo inchie flourish stamps
Versacube Pinecone ink
a coffee filter & more ink
a scrap of brown Bazzill
a scrap of spotty paper from my stash

Regular Drunken Stampers might note that I used something from the kitchen (coffee filter- last weeks' challenge) and a magazine cutting (week before lasts' challenge)
I didn't set out to do that deliberately, it just kind of happened.

my example for the MMT

Final week -- and the challenge is a monochrome cream/white LO. Here's my example -- photo is of Katie eating toasted marshmallows, taken a few weeks ago.

pretty shoes

We've been swapping shoes at ART, following instructions from here and a challenge from here -- and these little beauties are the ones my mum sent me. They're so pretty, and were filled with all kinds of goodies, as you can see. I'll be using some of it this very day, to create a new LO for a comp we're running at ART.
More of that later!
